Location	Chicago, IL.
Symptom	Choir loft floor was sagging.
Problem	Structural engineering firm determined that the choir loft was too dangerous to use due to the possibility of collapsing if occupied with the number of people that the loft was originally intended to hold.
Corrective Action	Installed shoring under choir loft, removed inadequate structural members, (i.e., beams, columns and footings), jacked up loft to a more level position, and installed properly sized/rated structural members.
